Hello,
We have a three year old Maltese called Max who we are taking to the South of France next week. We have been reading about the risks of sandflies and being a vector for disease. All of the sites we have read have told us the importance of a repellent in addition to killing the sandflies. Our current flea medication (bravecto spot on) does not do this however upon research there is a medication called Vectra 3D which is proven to repel sandflies. His last dose of bravecto was on the 16th of July and we would need to give him the vectra shortly. I just wanted to check this would be safe. I can not find any evidence of interactions.
Thanks, Joe :)
