Hello Vets I have a 3 year old pitty male and I notice that he has a small discolored bump on his testicles? I hoping someone with knowledge will be able to help me with this issue?
Hello! Thankyou for this interesting picture although I'm sorry to read that it's affecting your dog. It is usually difficult to identify such a lump from sight alone; a vet might ask what is happening to it over time (a lot of tramatic lesions / insect bites etc behave like a bruise) or may elect to sample it in some way, ranging from a needle (minimally invasive but only a few cells information in return) to castration and scrotal ablation (ie big margins if a tumour is suspected). The breed and age of dog might affect this and they might also want to feel the local lymph nodes. Please therefore present the lesion to them sooner rather than later.
