Hello, my dog has a growth on his face. I want to say it showed up around Halloweens and it grew pretty fast at first, then I don’t know what happen but for a good 30 days it looked like he kept skinning it or bumping it, or irritating it so it was kinda cut down and it wasn’t growing much. My daughter was in town right before Christmas and he as due for a vaccine so I had her take him in so I didn’t have to miss work…I asked her to ask about the growth on his face and see if it was anything serious. She came back and told me the vet said he was more worried about his teeth cleaning then that thing on his face. The teeth cleaning is including in my wellness plan so I get it for no extra money, and he said If I wanted to I could have that growth and the small bump on his neck removed for $1300 while he was out for his teeth cleaning. Well we just moved here and I really miss my old vet and not sure if I trust this new one yet. I have already had issues with his office people. I got the teeth cleaning done on March 6th and I didn’t worry about the growth, but now a few weeks after the dental cleaning this growth has now doubled in size, but it doesn’t look skinned up or irritated anymore. So I don’t know if it really grew that fast or just finally healed. Should I be worried about any of this? (I did the best I could with the pictures, 2 of the pictures are the growth on the face the one I’m worried about, the other one is a the bump under the collar) Thank you for any insite you may offer! (I got him in Oct 2009, he was estimated to be at least 2 then so he’s almost 15 years old, I been told he’s a miniature Italian ground, whippet mix bread. Incase that helps) IMG_1357IMG_1358IMG_1361

Hello!  It sounds as though your vet has already had chance to discuss this lump with you - what did they say? Also, for clarity, which is the 'other' (collar) lump?  Thanks
