Hello!  And wow - what a contraption!  I'm afraid that it's quite difficult to offer advice out of context with this.   What is the reason for the wheels in the first place?   Has your dog got experience of it being painful to move around recently and thereby feels worried to try?  Could the frame be too heavy?  Is pain releif needed / being given?  Could it be digging in in any place? For the right dog at the right time, the right mobility aid can be excellent.  However, persuading a dog to associate a mobility aid with pleasure, rather than pain or stress is an important step on the journey.   We would strongly advise talking it over with your Veterinary team and taking things from there.

(ps That said, he is unlikely to be very scared of it if he is sleeping so close!  This can be very positive.  Is your dog generally mobile?  It could be that there is for eg, muscle to build up.   Your vet will hopefully provide guidance.  Best of luck!)
