So my baby gets these on his testicles. I’m not sure but they appear to be ingrown hairs, but I wasn’t sure but if they are what causes them? And how can I keep them from coming back? Am i supposed to pull them out? I can’t imagine that would be all that pleasant for him.
Hello - I think it would be worth asking your vet to check with a veterinary pathologist about this, because it's possible that occasionally ingrown hairs can be a warning sign of underlying disease, either relating to the endocrine (hormonal) system or even a cancer; your vets' pathologist would know. Your vet would examine your dog at the same time and potentially pick up on any other, more subtle concurrent symptoms.
