Irritable lump

My jack russell terrier has a hard red lump on side of his nose. He's constantly pawing at his face so it must be irritating him making me think its a bite of some kind 🤔 can anyone shed some light? Or give advice on what i could do?

Hi, I'm not one of the vets but if you could post a picture of lump I'm sure it will help them.
