Jaw trembling

My 7 year old malamute x akita has developed a jaw tremor,  mostly happens when resting or sleeping or when he swallows. His mouth has been checked an bloods done all appears to be normal. Dont know what else to do. He seems his normal self no problem eating, an dosent appear to be vne bothering him but the sound of his teeth chattering is horrible.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hello!   I wonder if your vet has done a neurological examination as well as the bloods.  If this was all normal, what have they suggested that you do next?  Possibilities may include filming an episode for their viewing, 'waiting to see' if it develops, doing more tests or referring the case to a specialist e.g. a neuromuscular expert, for their opinion.  Hopefully your vet will discuss the various options with you and help you to think through the various positives and negatives involved in each case so that you can make a decision with which you are happy.  I would love to hear if you get to the bottom of this - good luck!
