Standard poodle intermittently knuckles under front paws, when sitting, and lower leg tremors at same time. As though she is not able to firmly place both feet down. One will shake and bend forward and then after adjusting will happen again, can be other leg, or she will elect to lay down. Dog has been unhealthy overall since purchase from Breeder. Is allergic to numerous things and can only eat extremely limited diet with lamb or beef. She is extremely small and undersized for a standard also reaching only 28.5 pounds at one year. Have several videos of the described tremor and knuckling under, can't upload here. Perhaps can email.

Hello.   By knucking, I think you mean that the front / topside of the foot hits the floor rather than the palm / pad.  The tremour could reflect a generalised muscle weakness or again, stem from the nerve signals.  Uploading a picture won't diagnose this I'm afraid;  if I've pictured it correctly then your vet will want to carry out a neuromuscular exam and formulate a plan from there.   Allergies are not uncommon in poodle types I'm afraid and it's worth taking that and the weight concern to your vets.  Perhaps the poodle is of a smaller type / breeding than you thought, but it sounds as though they need to do a quick assessment in case of underlying issues, because the signs you are describing don't sound normal.  Wishing you the very best - please do let us know how things go.

Please excuse me rewriting;  my first answer was unclear.  The knuckling sounds to be the biggest problem - I am picturing the back / top of the foot hitting the floor rather than the pad.  If that's right, then that - along with the weakness - could be a neuromuscular issue and merits a neurologically focussed examination from your vet.  They might want to do this soon, so perhaps ask them to triage.   Regarding the skin, this is not uncommon and may be likely to be a chronic (ongoing) issue. I hope that this is more helpful.

Regarding the weight, there is obviously a huge range of poodle sizes and it could be that she is a different size to that which you originally thought.  However, some dogs with congenital problems do fail to gain weight, so this is another argument for a  vet examination as soon as it can be arranged.
