HELLO VETS
Need advice…
I am set to start my cat on chlorambucil tomorrow morning and I forgot to ask my veterinarian if his pill has to be separated from his Cerenia and Prednisolone or can they all be given at the same time? Med time is 7am and clinic does not open until 8. Not the end of the world if I wait an hour or two but would prefer to keep things on schedule.
Chlorambucil is an off-license medication in cats; unfortunately under U.K. medicines laws that means we aren’t allowed to advise you on administration (only the prescribing vet is). I’m not aware of any reason it needs to be given separately but it’s not a drug I’ve used much (not being an oncologist) so I’m afraid that checking with the prescriber is your best bet - good luck!
