Hi! I traveled about 2 hours to take my cat to a veterinary ophthalmologist, I do it every year because of his melanosis but it seems to really be speeding upm I took him in February this year. This is the difference between march 2022, Feb 2023 as and today. They said to bring him back next February but I'm not sure if I should actually be worried its developing so quickly and I did mention this but there's no other specialists near me? It's just the amount it's spread and the pupil being a little funny and it dosent seem to be as reactive to light as the other one, it's always slightly bigger as you can see.. I did mention that at the appointment too and she's a lovely vet so I don't want to complain if it's not something massively worrying!
I absolutely adore him he is my world so I can't take any risks he's such a sweet boy ❤️ I also don't want to be over reacting, it's £250 per consultation so it would be daft to be questioning the professionals if it's just me and my anxieties! I lost my old cat last year and I do worry a lot since it happened!
