I am going to write this out again, to be clear.
This could be vaginitis, which literally means 'inflammation of the vagina'. Even if this is the case, it is important to know what has made the vagina inflamed. There could be infection, stump pyometra, a foreign body, hyperplasia (overproduction of cells, often in response to an abnormal change in circulating hormones), a vaginal polyp or even cancer. It needs veterinary attention and may require examination and / or a biopsy in order to reach a conclusion.
Please call your vet as soon as possible for triage.
