My dog is crying and searching cold place to sit

My 3 year labrador was identified with tvt. Her chemotherapy is going on . During her 1st session she was doing good . But after 2nd session which was in Sunday she is crying and searching cold places to sit.  Is this due to chemo ? If yes how can I help her ? What medicine can I give her to get relief from the pain . This Sunday we are going to the vet for her 3rd session till then can you please suggest me so idea's to help her . Reply soon .

Hello!  I'm sorry to hear that you and your dog are having a bad time following chemo.  I'm not clear whether this is a side-effect of chemo or a new symptom, or even what chemo meds / dose you are using.   However, if you suspect that a dog is in discomfort or distress then it is not really something that will wait until Sunday; please call your veterinary team and report the signs.

Possibilities may include a drug reaction, eg a skin reaction to the chemo, or an unrelated fever, anxiety or completely separate disease process.  However, phone triage by the vets who know her case is the best place to start.

If they are not available out of hours,then it is possible that the out of hours team will be able to access a copy of her notes.
