My dog Layla always finishes her food, she is 2 in a half years old and she is a lab mix.   the last day or 2 she has not really been touching her food… she’s very distant and that isn’t like her, usually she loves being around the kids, loves laying her head in my Lap. She is sleeping ALOT more. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with her? she had a small limp 3 days ago but has actd like it is fine since. She is usually very active, and she is up to date on her shots, we adopted her from kc pet project over a year ago.

Hello and thank you for reaching out.  Whatever is going on with your dog might well be systemic.  That means that it is affecting her whole body; her willingness to move, her appetite, her interest.....  and may be serious. It's not one to sit on; your vet needs to be diagnosing this - or treating to releave the symptoms which, depending on the cause, could deteriorate fast.  Possibilities are many and varied from these symptoms; they may include pancreatitis, severe leg or joint pain for some reason (this may include a serious infection or polyarthritis), pyometra, autoimmune diseases such as polyarthritis or anaemia and more.   Please see your vet and let them do tests; most will come up with a problem list and then start to rule conditions out.  It isn't a process that I can talk you through at home - wishing you both all the best.
