IMG_20230728_003032does this look like a cyst rupture? We weren't aware of any bumps on his butt but we also didn't go looking for them. Gonna try to get him into a vet but they stay full. He's a 8 year old chihuahua. He just started bleeding from the wound tonight. I think maybe it rupture when trying to poop? Keeping it clean but I'm worried

Hello - goodness, this looks sore and much larger than a typical damaged anal gland.   I beleive that if you explain the symptons, your vet might decide to prioritise it, as this may be painful and furthermore, any licking or interference from your dog could make it worse. There may also be herniation involved, which can sometimes be an emergency due to the pressure put on vital areas.  Depending what your vet finds when they examine it, pain releif (dog-specific and safe ie from the vets) and a buster collar may be a short-term treatment or surgery may be indicated.
