Hello Vets, I’m looking for a little bit of advice. My 3 year old cat is roughly 40ish days pregnant. Yesterday I noticed a small amount of reddish/brown discharge around her backend. Is this the start of labour? She seams absolutely fine in herself, no excessive licking or restlessness. Tia.

Hello - it could be, but there could be other explanations for it, too - and 24 hours with no progression at this point may be unusual.  It would be a good idea to immediately report this to your vet so that they can assess the situation in context.
