I notice this lump a couple days ago on my Rottweilers  hinde legs by his nub, a couple days later he had it licked raw. I trimmed the hair around i. To me it looks like a spider bite or something. Should I lance it? Any advice would be appreciated.   Here is a link to a video of it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Yp6HWNEet7IisFUvG9Vkqx3EKuqB6xp5/view?usp=sharing

Hello - and oh my goodness, that must hurt.  Even assuming it WAS just an abscess, it must be very painful and I would not advocate lancing it at home, especilly not without pain killers and specialist restraint.  That word 'assuming' is also a concern; have you ruled out foreign bodies under the skin, cancer, eosinophilic plaques, parasites, ringworm and so on? - as these could all be made much worse by lancing them. If it was a spider bite, it could also have further ramifications.  Therefore, based on what we can see, we would strongly reccommnd calling your vets for triage.
