Side effects of deworming or subcutaneous fluids?

I brought my cat to the clinic yesterday to get her CBC checked and they injected subcutaneous fluids to resolve her dehydration. She (my cat) was also dewormed by taking in an oral medicine. She was fine when we got home and rested lots but after waking up from her nap, she was growling and didn't want to be picked up. She tried jumping on the bed that was barely half a meter tall but she suddenly couldn't carry her weight. She weighs 2 kg and always loved high places so being unable to make the jump to the bed was very unusual for her. I'm not sure what to be worried about, the probability of side effects of the deworming medicine or the subcutaneous fluids? Is what she is experiencing right now normal? Or should I contact the vet right away?

Hi - there is a huge part of the picture missing here - why did your cat need a CBC (complete blood count) and fluid in the first place?  I mean, having sub cut fluids can be stressful or  moderately uncomfortable and occasionally cats do behave differently afterwards.  So it might be one possibility.  However, it sounds as though your cat has some underlying illness going on, bad enough to need fluids - and if they have gone downhill, an assessment of this condition might well be in order.  She sounds as though she might be in pain for example, so a chat through with the emergency vet is a good idea.

Apologies for the lack of context. Two weeks ago, my cat was diagnosed positive with calicivirus and herpesvirus. She was prescribed to have a follow-up check-up after two weeks, thus, prompting the CBC test. Unfortunately, she is not consuming enough water at home causing her to be dehydrated. Thus, she was injected with subcutaneous fluids two weeks ago and her recent check-up.

Thank you for your response, Liz! This is just a clarification but I will be taking her to the vet.
