Hello - and thankyou for this interesting picture. Interesting because we cant see the lesion very well and so there is quite a wide range of available possibities.  Some of these are quite innocuous, such as superficial scrapes, which in a fit heathy patient might easily heal. However at the other end of the spectrum, from here I can't rule out leishmaniasis or alabama rot - skin presentations of two very rare but increasing infectious diseases here in the uk, so more context would be needed than I have.   I might also be wondering about bite damage secondary to arthritic pain in such a specific spot.  I might wonder about foreign bodies, polyps, benign growths eg histiocytoma or cancerous growths.  I might wonder about such trauna as burns; about tick-bites or Ringworm or demodex.  Because thete are so many possibilities and because that site is so prone to traumatic licking if the lesion is sore, we would reccommend triage from your veterinary surgeon in order than an appropriate appointent can be booked.
