Hi, everyone! I am an independent rescuer in the Philippines. We have a cat we rescued from a fire incident. While she was in isolation (according to our protocol), we noticed that she was not feeling well. We brought her to a vet and she was diagnosed with wet FIP. She underwent GS treatment and is now under observation.
Unfortunately, while on observation, she got sick again and had calicivirus, gingivitis, and pancreatitis. She was confined at another vet and after a week or so, her blood values and other results got better.
Until one day, suddenly, she was limping. Her vet cannot pinpoint the reason for the sudden limping. There was no recurrence of FIP based on her blood test results. We had her x-rayed though and there were issues found on her bones. What happened to Viva is really puzzling as it just affected her hind legs and it was really sudden. She was even jumping on cabinets before. All the vet could conclude for now is developmental issues. By the way, she's 5-6 months now.
