Hello! As with all pimply-spotty-things, it could be cancerous, but it could also be inflammatory (a reaction to something, for example: a demodex mite, bacterial infection in the pore (like a spot), an insect bite etc). Sometimes, nose pigment can change with underlying diseases such as fungal infection or hypothyroidism, so there is another small possibility.
Some of these lesions resolve quickly by themselves with a short amount of time and keeping clean. However, because the possibility of it being a (less easy to clear) infection, cancer or underlying illness exists, it makes sense to consider booking a vet appointment now (if you practice has a long waiting list, you may be glad of it).
