I noticed this strange lump on my dogs leg a few weeks ago. I have been monitoring it daily and it doesn’t seem to have changed , I’m worried as I can’t seem to find anything like it online and would like some reassurance that it’s nothing serious. I will however likely have to visit the vet soon to get the lump properly tested. The lump is on her upper leg, it’s a purple/blueish colour and is squishy like it has blood inside but there are darker bumps on it that are harder.

Hello!  I wonder whether this may turn out to be a cyst or a wart or papilloma.  Some more sinister possibilities do exist.  I think that going to the vets and talking over the possibilities / options for getting it tested - removal, wait for a free weeks, FNA etc - would be a good idea.  If you go to our blog and search for 'lump,' there are a number of articles including one I wrote myself, about the sort of thing you can expect.
