I need an opinion on this wounds chance of ever healing. It's deep and it's close to the Anus.
I'm not going to subject a farm cat to the trauma of getting shoved in a cage and going in a car to see a vet only to then be put down anyway. I just need the best opinion someone can give, I have pictures and up close video
Hello - this looks to be is sore and traumatic - there look to be full-thickness ulcers to the cats skin in a very sensitive and vulnerable place. Im afraid I sinply do not beleive that 'the trauma of being shoved in a cage and being taken to a vets' is comparable to the potential pain and misery inflicted by leaving such a disease as is depicted here untreated. If this is real, the owners may well have a legal responsibility to seek out veterinary treatment for this animal. Please see your vet and tell them your problems with getting in regularly from the outset - it may make a huge difference to how they propose treating this case. Best of luck.
