White bumps in ears

My dog suddenly has white itchy bumps in his ears. We’ve been traveling the past month and just a day ago these bumps appeared. 

Hello - I wonder whether these are pustules, infection or inflammation within the skin / hair follicle.  They might occur in connection with damaged skin due to allergy, or something else.  Because of the vulnerable position so close to the earhole we wouldnt reccommend putting anything on there without speaking to your vet.

Depending what it looks like up close and the history, there may be a few other things to rule out including demodex, cysts, lumps etc
