About a week ago, I noticed some white spots on my dog's paws. They're flat. No peeling skin or raised surface. He is a 5 year old Chi mix, 18 lbs., neutered male. Any idea what they could be?
Hello! There are a variety of things that may cause this sort of change, including changes in circulation to the toes (sometimes secondary to other issues), in weight bearing and potentially some less common endocrine diseases (I would have to look that up if you were my patient). It is therefore well worth showing this lesion to your vet. Please do let us know how you get on.
