My 3 years old labrador has something like this in her vagina. She was totally fine yesterday.  She was having diarrhoea this morning and when I came back from work I noticed that she was lying on the bed . She doesn't want to sit . And while sitting she feels uncomfortable.  When I checked her . I found this . She was spayed . She doesn't have uterus . She was done ovary sparing spay  . What can be this ? She has discgrge too .20211209_184235

Hello!  This could be vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina, although usually it would be good to know why it is so extremely inflamed); it could be infection,  hyperplasia (overproduction of cells, eg due to unusual hormones), a vaginal polyp or even cancer.  It needs veterinary attention and may require further examination and / or biopsies before a full answer can be given.  All and best and please do let us know how the story continues.

I am going to write this out again, to be clear. This could be vaginitis, which literally means 'inflammation of the vagina'.  Even if this is the case, it is important to know what has made the vagina inflamed.  There could be infection, stump pyometra, a foreign body, hyperplasia (overproduction of cells, often in response to an abnormal change in circulating hormones), a vaginal polyp or even cancer.  It needs veterinary attention and may require examination and / or a biopsy in order to reach a conclusion. Please call your vet as soon as possible for triage.

I did not mention physical injury, which of course is another possibility.

This may be painful and / or infected and should see a vet soon.
