My 5 month old kitten has had the occasional bought of wheezing after eating (within 30 minutes or so, and maybe 3 times in the last week) week and has had a damp nose. Other than that she seems fine. She is full of energy, always wanting to play with our older cat or us, is eating well, drinking water, using her litter box the normal amount. Is this something to be worried about.
Hello - I'm afraid that these signs may indeed merit a visit to your vet - perhaps you could call them and ask to be triaged, ie assessed to see how urgently they feel you need to be seen. If eating may be affecting the kittens breathing for example, it may be that the vet would rather assess things now, while the kitten is still well and happy and lively, in case it is something that may deteriorate in the future.
Possible causes of a wet nose in kittens include upper respiratory tract infections, heart disease, foreign body in the nose etc. - a very wide range, which is why triage seems to be a good idea.
