Bearded Dragon Tumors

I have a 3 year old bearded dragon. about a year ago he started to develope a couple of tumors on his back and i took him to the vet. they said it was most likeley benign but they couldnt be able to tell without an operation. the tumors havent bothered him at all. hes been active and still remains active but within the past 2 weeks he staryed to develop one on his foot. i dont think its really bothering him but im worried that it will soon.. i would love an option on what may be wrong and what the next step should be.(surgery is too expensive). i would take him to the vet but im not sure they would be able to do much as they werent last year. Hello!   It sounds as though you have already had an opinion from a vet about this;  were they a specialist exotics vet?  Unfortunately I am a normal small-animal vet, so if you would like a second, more educated opinion about a particular species, then the correct way to go about this would be to ask to be referred to someone who is in a position to know more than your own vet.  Your vet should be able to arrange this for you - it may be easier than it once was, because since Covid, specialists consult much more online than they used to do.  I hope that this helps a little.  A general list of differentials for lumps in beardies may include metabolic bone disorders, tumours, cysts, insect bites, infected wounds and so on.  Wishing you the best of luck and please do let us know what you find out.
