My 14 month old red nose American Pitbull refused to eat yesterday morning (8/31/2022) and still hasn't. He won't drink water either. He bowel movements are watery and all he's done since yesterday morning is sleep. He usually barks or whines when he needs to go out but I've had to go in and wake him up  since his issue started. When I go in to take him out he wags his tail and comes willingly but his energy level is WAY down. My apartment is on the second floor and he seems to be having trouble with going up the stairs today.  Any answers ? When I played "I stole your toy" with him he immediately tackled me and repossessed his toy but he went right back to sleep. I'm worried.

Hello - I think that you may be right to be worried.  Your dog doesn't sound to be taking if fluids, and sounds to be losing them faster than usual, in urine and faeces.  This will lead to dehydration, and while dehydration can sometimes resolve if the illness passes, it can continue to get worse and a lot of dogs presenting like this will get very poorly.  Given that his energy level is dropping, it sounds as though you need to have him assessed by a vet relatively quickly.  Perhaps your vet has an emergency number you can call, in order to triage the situation?  As he might need IV fluids.
