Sensitive Raw Skin on Dogs Neck

My dog (bloodhound/German shepherd mix) has been experiencing raw sensitive skin under his collar. It’s been inflamed and my dog now has a bald patch in that area. Due to his breed he has a lot of loose skin around the neck and I’m looking for collar recommendations to help prevent this from happening in the future. I appreciate any help. Thank you!

Hello - I'm afraid that I don't have any specific reccommendations for makes of collars, although your nursing team might if they know of anything appropriate.  However, I wonder how your dog would get on with a harness? - as they could eliminate the need for any pressure on the neck at all.  However, just like collars, it is important that harnesses fit correctly and are removed frequently eg in the house.
