I accidentally gave my Bernedoodle 12 week puppy twice the amount of Panacur. She weighs 16 pounds. What should I do?

Hello - there is a reliable procedure for any possible overdosing event.  Please call your vet, or their emergency team if they're not open, and be ready to tell them:  the dogs' weight (tick!), the drug given (tick! - well done), when she had it and the concentration of the medication if you can see it (I think that Panacur has supplied a choice of 2.5% or 10% in the past).   Your vet will talk you through much of this, if you have the packaging in your hands.  They will the triage the case - ie decide how important this is, in terms of how soon she needs to be seen and whether emergency treatment may be needed.   Because your pup is their patient, we are not allowed to do this on their behalf, but there will be a 'toxic dose' at which point treatment will be recommended.  In some cases, it will help if ypu have someone make the call as you travel to the surgery, just in case.  Wishing you both all the best.
