Hello and while there is no specific question here, let's talk about this.  Scabs signify that at least the top layer of skin has been broken or torn and it is a symptom; there can be many different reasons behind it.  A common one is fleas; fleas bite, which cause a local inflammatory response and considerable itching, which leads to scratching, which leads to deeper sores and sometimes local infection in the skin.  In this instance, appropriate flea treatment (speak to your vet or phramacyst directly) would be a good idea and in some situations, vets will also treat the wound and / or the itch.

Pain is another strong differential; cats frequently scratch a convenient place in response to ear, abdominal, back or even dental pain.  This can be treated with pain releif (always prescribed by your vet because common human ones have brutal side effects) or by treating the underlying cause of the pain.

Wounds lead to scabs of course, and these can range from fairly innocuous self-healing wounds to deceptively deep tracts (I have seen bullets leave negligible holes), to cat bites and scratches and (tend to become infected) and foreign body entract wounds.

If you find wounds on your pet, it is always a good idea to get them checked - even more so if they are worsening or the pet evelops other symptoms.   I hope that something here is helpful.
