Hello - sometimes a cloudy discharge is present during stage one of labour and a change in temperature can happen the day before, or less. However they would also be beginning to show other signs by now too. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a quick phone consultation with your vet, if you are unsure what to expect - it can help to put your mind at rest, or to flag up concerns (not all discharges are good news). If your dog is in the right stage of labour, what you describe could be normal - but infection, pyometra and other problems could also present in this way, so a chat to your vet, who can ask questions and take a history to get the full context, would be preferable.
