Swollen paw after wrapping

My 11yo Boxer has a wound on the back of both of her hind legs, so I wrapped it in gauze and vet tape overnight to protect the wounds. This morning, one of her paws is very swollen, and I’m wondering if I wrapped it too tight. The bandage ended up slipping down overnight, so I don’t think the wrap was too tight necessarily, but it was the first thing I thought of. I removed the wrap and I’m keeping an eye on it. Could this be a sign of her wound being infected, and it caused her paw to swell? The wounds have been there for weeks, but this was the first time I bandaged them. She’s currently on gabapentin and carprofen for some of her Cushing’s symptoms. Thank you!!

Hello - there are a lot of 'coulds' as to what it might be, including a too-tight banage, including cancer, including infection, including some infectious diseases.   I realise that the bandage happened yesterday, but trust that the hair loss didnt happen overnight and I dont know the story with the wounds, so I dont have much context.  A good idea would be to call your vets and ask for the situation to be triaged.
