A friends under one year old cat has an abnormally long olecranon, unilaterally. It is quite a bit longer than the contralateral elbow and has significantly affected his gate. He holds the front leg up off the ground when sitting. X-rays confirmed this abnormality. Questions: 1) What exactly do we call this? 2) Is there an orthopedic procedure/osteotomy that can excise a portion of the olecranon by ORIF?
