If you want your pet seen the same day, we will always find you an appointment - we want to be there for you when you need us! That's why we have convenient clinics at Lye, Sedgley, Causeway Green and Quinton with access to all the additional facilities of the main Dudley Hospital.
Appointments - Weekday at all our surgeries 9.00am - 7.00pm. Saturday appointments at Dudley Hospital 9.00am - 4.00pm, Causeway Green Oldbury 9.00am - 10.00am, Sedgley 11am - 12.00pm, Sunday appointments are at our Dudley Hospital 11.00am to 12 noon.
24 hour emergency cover is staffed by our own veterinary team of vets and nurses.

The only disgruntlement is that once we have been for a consultation and first treatment, when they want to see you a week later to see if Maisie is any better we have to pay that consultation fee again. Others vets and pets at home don’t charge a 2nd consultation fee.

We are always looked after when visiting blacks Vets the receptionist are very friendly and helpful and the vets are always clear when explaining what’s wrong with your pet

I brought my two cats in for nail clips recently and the nurses who saw us were so patient and friendly. They handled my cats really well even though my girl can be a bit feisty. Even though it was a very professional atmosphere myself and my pets felt very relaxed.

I rang your so called Emergency Service on Christmas morning as my 12 year old Labrador was very ill and howling with pain. I explained that I am 80 years old and that my dog was upstairs and having no one to help and no transport, I needed a home visit. Even though I explained the situation, all I was told. was that you couldn't help unless I could get to your surgery. This was impossible . Fortunately, I was able to contact another local vet who was very understanding and was with me in 20 minutes to end Ben's pain. Having been registered with your Lye branch for over 20 years, all I can say is that I'm very disappointed with the way I was treated in this emergency situation. R Johnson.
Vet ResponseWe are very sorry to hear of the sad passing of Ben and we are truly sorry that you feel we were not there for you when you needed us. We had a busy hospital with both inpatients and emergencies coming in, and we would have put those pets at risk if the vet had come out to you. Being Christmas day we had limited staff working. We tried a number of ways to be able to help you get to the surgery so we could treat Ben, unfortunately none of these were suitable for you. Again deepest sympathy on the sad passing of Ben.
