Hello! She may be taking a while to settle in or missing her old home (your house is after all unfamiliar at the moment, even if it is the world's loveliest house - it's no reflection on you) or she may be in pain, or just very vocal / communicating (some types of cat, in particular, vocalise much more than others) or hungry, or cold, under-stimulated, or lonely if she's used to litter mates, or simply seeking your company. I hear that she is eating and sounds happy and hopefully this is a calorie dense enough kitten food (adult cat food often leaves kittens hungry); what else may she need? Most cats are about 4 months old when they come into season, but it may be possible that this is happening earlier than expected / there may be an issue with the dates. Sometimes cats are sold younger than ideal. Vets will discuss basic concerns / feeding requirements when you first introduce a pet to the practice for a 'healthy kitten check.' As you have concerns then they may be able to see you sooner for a consultation or triage over the phone. It's always better to have them checked if you have concerns. We hope that you get to the bottom of the behaviour soon and please do let us know how you get on.
