Hey the first picture here was taken today, the second 10 days ago - over that 10 days this black patch has formed around the top of his nose. He is 14 weeks old and this appeared around 14 days ago as a small patch on the left side, we thought it was just a scratch but has since spread across his nose. Any idea what it might be?

Actually decided to take him to the vet after writing this and got an appointment straight away, vet managed to wipe it off but wiped a lot harder than i think I or my partner would have tried. Vet said it was likely some discharge from a scratch which got infected and looks to have healed already and was just stuck to his fur - he's fine and his nose looks much better
