Hello, has anyone ever seen anything like this in a cats eye? It's hard to tell in the picture but it seems to resemble a grey floating rbbon if that makes sense. The whole eye has changed color slightly and the "ribbon" is not always visible. The eye specialist in my city is only booking 3 months out..
Hello - i am surprised by this because eye changes are frequently regarded as emergencies; not many of the eye problems I have referred, would have waited for three months. However, some can - the question is therefore, whether this is one of them. I dont know where you are or what your referral system is like, but I assume that your vet - your GP - has examined this eye and formed an opinion as to how urgent it is. If they are not happy that it can wait for three months, we would recommend that they ask the specialists what other options are available.
I'm afraid that we cannot assess the eye from here as eyes are a 3D object and I can only see 2 dimensions. Please will you double check with your GP vet and let us know how you get on?
