Hello, I’ve made a post about my cats eye before. He one day a few months ago got this mark in his eye, it seems the bottom of his pupil also curves a bit. He’s a full black at about 9 years old. I’m just curious now because he was looking toward the window and it just seems the light is reflecting off of it weird. I’ve been taking progress pics ever since I noticed but I’ve never seen it reflect like this. I’m just not sure if this means it’s more urgent/less urgent or if it changes anything at all. I have been saving for a vet appointment too but in the meantime, taking pics.
Hello and thank you for this question. I can't immediately remember your previous question but I'd like to think that I asked you to get it checked by a vet with a view to having a referral to an eye specialist. As this situation is currently changing and evolving, this is strongly my advice at this time; the safest option would be to treat it as an emergency because an emergency vet will be able to look at it from all directions and assess the intraocular pressure, so that if urgent referral or action is required, it can be sought.
