Hi- sorry, ive asked many questions in the past about my kitten and dog from a currently and sadly hacked account that contains my dog's history and my everything. Irrelevant- my only goal is to not offend local vets and sorry in advance i know you cant speak for every vet and its unfair of me to hope uou can. My 8ish month old castrated in june kitten received her second felv vaccine last week.- 4 months after first as it became available. Yay. And then she escaped/got lost a few days ago. It was horrible and scary.she was gone for 36 hours ish. She walks with her right leg up. My friend took her to vet who said to return today for an. X ray as she thinks something is broken. She seems wonderful and smart. My friend, untrained, disagrees. I will take her there and hope they are ok with that. Do you mind sharing what can be done for a kitten fractiure or broken paw/leg bit? Would you wonder aloud if blood tests could be beneficial, and advice or best wishes always appreciated more than yiu can imagine. Thank

Hi. Sorry ignore me. I will take vita for an xray there in an hour and try not to over/under/misshare. I think the injury could be from some airgun type thing that horrifies me but he seemed ok with me bringing her so i feel better. Sorry. I understand nothing. My friend who took her made it seem like the x ray was just about if it needs to be taped. A friend in the states mentioned the bone could have to be set. I will trust he is aware im an idiot and will help her feel better. Sorry thanks

Sorry again- just to follow up, it is fractured, the tib thing. He showed me the xray and i did the thing where i pretended i understood his explanation because i think it was important to him that he felt i understood and i wanted him to feel i did as im sure he did a great job, but my spanish sucks. From what i think i get she will need to be in some sort of bandage for 20 -30 days when i get her in an hour and i fear he may have suggested i am meant to keep her from messing with it via a cone thing. I need to believe i misunderstood that paet. But i found fantastic blogs on your website and will read them sorry thanks

Hi Im sorry to write again. I love our vet and trust him entirely ans hope he will be our forever vet. He has referred us to a surgeon, and we will see him tomorrow. I feel so lucky . I'm not in a question asking culture, and trust the surgeon entirely alreadh. Just wondering if 1. You feel there are any 'must ask' questions and 2. Any information you wish your patients knew or expectations to have. Thanks and please know I know this is not anything urgent. Im so so so happy we met our vet, I would like to minimize thr possibility of messing anything up patient mama wise- as in in want to try to be whatever vets would love patient mamas to be at first appointment- if possible to generalize. Thank you so so much

Ugh I'm sorry- I forgot to mention that she has been in a full leg cast-ish type thinf- when i met my hopeful forever vet he set it, he feels as this point, surgery is likely warranted- so that is why he referred us to the surgeon-
