my 9-10 year old male cat random got this black mark in his eye a few months ago, it’s only changed slightly but I also noticed his pupil shape seems a little weird. The bottom of it is pointed when the pupils are big and while small that point seems to curve to the side a bit.
Hello and thankyou for these well captured and interesting photos. The lesion sounds to be progressive and while it might be a cyst in the anterior chamber- the area beteeen the lens and the pupil - it could also be cancer, or a change relating to changing conditions eg pressures in the eye. I feel that your vet should triage it and if unsure, may refer you to an opthalmologist. Wishing you both all the best.
Hi! This is probably a long shot, but did you ever get your kitty tested? If so, what were the results? How is he doing now? My cat seems to have developed the same thing overnight. I have an appointment with an opthalmologist in about a week and a half. I am very anxious.
