I noticed a new spot/discoloration on my cat’s paw. She is a calico multi colored cat but her toebeans were solid pink so this is new. I made a vet appointment for next week but I would like to learn more about what this could be prior to the appointment. 2 Pics the back paw with the one new spot on it. Thank
Hello - I wonder if this could be a wound / corn / pressure-related injury from uneven weightbearing eg in the event of arthritis or other joint pain. I also wonder about growths such as cancer. Other causes might include self-trauma or changes secondary to medical changes within the body eg uraemia or even leishmaniasis. Therefore, it would be a good idea to discuss this with your vet.
