Hello everyone. Yesterday I found a roughly 3 weeks female kitten next to my house. I've been feeding her from a syringe and stimulating her about 4-5 times a day and every time I do that she pees. However, I couldn't make her poop, and every time I try to stimulate her she screams very loud It was really stressing me. What should I do? Please answer ASAP.

Hello.  Kittens stop needing to be stimulated around 3-4 weeks and it sounds as if your age here was a guess, so I wonder whether - if everything has been going ok until now- it is simply that the kitten doesn't want to be stimulated in that way any more - will she go for herself if you don't?  (Obviously don't test this for too long.)  In this case however, the act of stimulating the kitten sounds to be actively uncomfortable for her, which could also connected to your technique or could be that her anatomy is different to normal - either of these would need to be addressed, so we would advise calling your vet as soon as possible.  If they are not available immediately, please do ask to be triaged on the phone as to how urgent this this.

Occasionally, foreign bodies etc can find their way into the rectum.  It is rare in kittens and if this were to be the case, it would be very urgent.
