Hi! I just saw these two red bumps, one on each side on my 17 week old puppy. He doesn’t seem to be itching at them, or even acknowledging them. Yesterday he did get groomed for the very first time so I have a feeling it may be from that. They definitely would’ve said something if it had already been there beforehand… So thankful for any help or advice provided!
Hello - I think that you might want to get Ringworm ruled out or treated for very soon and / or talk to your vet or nurse about any precautions you may need to take in the meantime. These can be very household specific and ringworm can spread to humns, especially if children or immuno compromised people are involved. Im not sure where you're based - certainly the Uk may be about to go into Bank Holiday mode for a few days, so it may be worth speaking to your vets if you haven't already and explaining what you can see. Of course thata not the only possibility: other possibilities may include (usually itchy) hot-spots, allergies, mites, fly bites, skin reactions etc, possibly burns or trauma or even tick reactions or cancer in some rare cases. Wishing you all the best in getting to the bottom of it.
