Hi, I have a 1 and a half year old staffy cross, yesterday I noticed a slight lump on his nose, however today it’s a bit bigger, he’s not itchy and it doesn’t seem to bother him. At first I thought it was a horsefly bite but now I’m unsure 🫤
Hello! Its hard to examine from here but this sort of thing could be inflammatory - ie a reaction to something, eg demodex mites or an allergy, a pustule, bite etc. It could be a change in the bone eg cancer or hyperplasia. It could be on the surface eg ringworm, so perhaps avoid touching it / check hygeine steps if that might be true. It's early days yet but it may be worth making an appointment to get it checked - on the off-chance it simply disappears again, its worth knowing the time / day you need to cancel by.
