Hello! I only have half of this question, but it may be urgent so I will guess what you were going to say and start to answer. If a dogs gums change colour - particularly if they turn pale or blue, then it may be an emergency and you need to contact your emergency vet immediately. My concern is that I am not sure how you know that only the leg was hit; if the body was hit, then internal bleeding may be a risk, even days later as 'slow' bleeds are a possibility and clots can be knocked. Furthermore, even a lone fracture can lead to dangerous bleeding in some cases. We hope that you are okay and please do let us know how you got on.
Ps I should also mention that even if your dog looks as pink or pinker than usual, the body's response to bleeding is to contract the spleen to release more red blood cells, so a paradoxical pinkness might be seen - ie bleeding cannot be ruled out in a pink-looking animal and a vet examination is recommended after any blunt trauma.
