Hello!  I had never heard of Acrochordons occuring in plaques before you asked.  They are apparently benign nodules that often occur singly (a benign lump, or polyp) but can, rarely, occur across the skin, coelescing to make the 'plaque,' perhaps a bit like cobble stones.  They are rare in dogs, so I suppose that the first first step would be confirm the diagnosis - given that you asked about the condition directly by name, I suspect that this has been done in the case you are asking about?    When you think of the hundreds of conditions known across the main 5 species of patient, we are all likely to find something that we don't know much about - if your vet doesn't either, then they will usually look for someone appropriate to give them advice, in the context of the animal in front of them;  a dermatological expert or the lab pathologist (if diagnosed by an outside lab) might be the most logical person the speak to.  We would love to hear about your pet and about what happened next, if you have time.
