Hello and thank you for your question. I also apologise for the pause in answering it. An internet search suggests that Babesia Gibsoni was reported in people in Korea as long ago as 2019 (an imported case) and an abstract from Seoul National University suggests that canine cases are now emerging, but I cannot read the full paper from here in the UK. The names on the paper are Miranda, Ham, Rim, Cho, Yu, Cho and Chai. "The acute course tends to consist of inappetence, lethargy (tiredness), pyrexia (fever), gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g. vomiting and diarrhoea), and occasionally hematuria (blood in urine)." These may be good people to contact; the publisher appears to be the Korean Society of Veterinary clinics. This is not a disease we see much here in the UK although it is being seen in imported dogs and potentially some dogs that have not been abroad.
I hope that your dog is receiving as much help as can be given and would urge you / your vet to investigate the method of spread and to employ maximal tick control and any other measures necessary in order to avoid the spread of this disease.
