My dog was wearing goo eez shoes and they caused a couple of his nails to rub the skin between his toes. I was wondering if there is a liquid bandage made for humans that I could pick up tonight that would be safe to use? I can have one for dogs delivered sometime tomorrow if necessary. He is nearly 17 years old and does not groom himself, so there is no chance of him ingesting it. Thank you.

Oh poor boy! Unfortunately, there's not much information available on the safety of these formulations in dogs, as even dogs who don't often self groom do tend to have a lick if you put something foreign on their toes, especially if the toes are already sore... So, assuming the skin isn't broken or weepy I think keeping them clean with salty water or a mild skin disinfectant (like very dilute chlorhexidine) would be the best place to start, and if they are really bothering him, start to weep or ooze, or the redness doesn't resolve rapidly, then get him looked at by your vet.
