Hello and thankyou for your report. I don't remember an original post to this effect but if there was one, please will you tag me in it so that I can look back?
To talk about pimples generally, they are after all nature's way of pushing micro infections or invading material or unwanted cells out of the body. A wall of tissue (called a capsule) walls the excess material off and gradually it is pushed out through the epidermal (skin surface) layer. White blood cells and macrophages go to the area to break any extra material down, and push it out of the body. If some of the material has to be broken down it can take a few days.
If a pimple persists beyond a few days, or if it causes a fever or untoward biting at an area, then there may be more going on than this explanation suggests and calling your vets for triage with a view to a check would be recommended.
